Design
The Red Swallow is a 56ft long, 6 berth cruiser stern narrowboat. It has a quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple to use controls.
Saloon
Radio/CD player; colour TV/DVD player.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4 burner gas cooker with grill and oven; refrigerator; sink and drainer; saucepans; cooking utensils; crockery and cutlery appropriate for the number of berths. There is plenty of storage space and work surfaces. Also supplied are a microwave; toaster and filter coffee machine.
Bathroom
There are two bathrooms, each with a wash hand basin, electrically operated flush toilet and shower, with toilet and wash hand basin in a separate cubicle, and a 240v shaver socket.
Berth
As this is an 6 berth boat, there is a choice of a fixed double berth or two singles in all cabins. These beds have interior sprung mattresses. An optional dinette/double or 2 single berths are available in the saloon.
Electric
12v mobile phone charging point (please remember to bring your own car charging lead). The 2kw inverter supplies 240v electricity to certain appliances and to a socket on the boat. (Please note: if you decide to use any of your own electrical appliances, you do so at your own risk).

Facilities
There is full radiator central heating on the boat. A 200 gallon water tank supplies the hot and cold running water. There is a double-filtered drinking water system. There is carpeting in the saloon and bedrooms.
