You might want the excitement of the Llangollen Canal from our base at Blackwater, with its vast aqueducts in the sky, long tunnels, and quaint lift bridges, in the beautiful Welsh Valleys.

Or cruise through the delightful Warwickshire and Staffordshire countryside from our marina at Alvechurch, and choose a variety of routes from the five canals near there.

If you fancy some exciting staircase locks, then look no further than Union Wharf marina, and you will have some long tunnels and beautiful rural landscapes thrown in as well.

With a barge holiday there is something for everyone- the wildlife is abundant, and the wild flowers and greenery combine with the old historic bridges, aqueducts and tunnels. There are many interesting museums, country houses, and potteries, like the fabulous Wedgwood Visitor centre.

The barges are easy to use, and we give full tuition on arrival, so don't worry if you haven't been on a barge holiday before. You can moor up on the tow path side, free of charge, and relax and just slow right down to the slow pace on the canals. If you don't fancy using our fully equipped kitchen, just try out the food at one of the delightful canal side pubs, or stroll into the villages that are dotted along the canals to sample some village pub fare.
